Who, What, When, Where, Why.....WOW!

Ya, so you may be asking yourself what happened to my weekly blog. Haha! Who was I kidding! It's been crazy and I have tons to share.

1st, things I've found out (crazy what happens when you read):

*Babies R Us - Trade-in Event. Bring in old and trade for new of same item for 20% off! SAFETY!! Good till 9.20.09

*Project Night Night - nonprofit org. that gives homeless kids (words that should NOT go together!) a tote filled with book, blanket and stuffed toy. You can buy bags from this org. and have a party and everyone brings stuff to fill (.99 store people!) or....just donate $20 and they do it all for you....but it wouldn't be as much fun as a party! Click on the name to see their site. Let me know if you might be interested!

*Kids who snore (even mildly) have higher blood pressure (leading cause of death) and heart rates not just while sleeping but when awake too! Not good!! So please, go get your little snorer checked out....just in case.

*KaBOOM - nonprofit org. that provides those sweet play structures (volunteers put together) is hosting more than 1000 family play days during the week of 9.19-27.09. Click on the name to see if there is an event near you!

*Where the Wild Things Are - your fav book as a kid is out in theaters 10.16.09!

I wrote a list of all that happened this past month that I missed blogging and decided it was better to let the pics speak for themselves...with maybe a caption here and there.


Mackenzie turned 8! Seriously!?! Made cakecookies....you should try!

More FREE movies...... @ the theater even!

School started for everyone and I think I might be busier with taking 3 kids to 2 different schools at 2 different times (1/2 day kinder has something to be desired!). And then there is the dreaded after school pick up! Thank god for another mom (props to Barbara!) getting Shane and meeting me elsewhere twice a week so we don't sit in line hell for 40min. Homework has resumed! Shane is super happy about that. Matt is happy but still new to him so rightly confused at times but still doing great! Kenzie, well she's not new to it anymore and the homework honeymoon is over! She's smarter than she thinks and I hope I'm helping her see that. Then there is Car and Mel who still need naps and Gavin is going with the flow...trying to teach him when I can. He's awesome. Melanie is eating solids...wooohoo! Carly is not walking.....SHE'S RUNNING!!! and mostly away from me cause I'm trying to take whatever she's not supposed to have. LOL. Good times all around! Its good to blog about it cause being mixed in the hustle and bustle I tend to forget just how much fun it is.

Kenzie for Picture Day! I think I did a good job...wonder if it lasted to the actual picture taking.

Week in Review: 8.3-7.09

1st off, did you know that this last week was National Breastfeeding Week?

Well it was so........

Last week (since I'm late posting) in Cr8tivity:

Water, Water and........more.....WATER!: My wonderful Sis & Bro-in-law brought over the giant water slide for a major slash-week! We had some special friends pay us a visit too. Neighbor: Breanna & Tracy; HS friend: Lisa w/ Kylee and Emily; and Reidy Creek Alum (lol): Connor w/ Barbara (mom), Elizabeth and Clara (about same age as Carly). Matt had soooo much fun one of these days that he passed out on the sidewalk while everyone was still on water slide. Check it out.............

FREE Movie: The Regal Theater puts on FREE (that's right!) movies on Tues and Weds @ 1030am during the summer (too bad I just now found out about this). This is awesome! They are old movies but way more fun to watch at theater than at home where you've been all week! So I took the kidz to see Journey to the Center of the Earth. Shane's kinder-buddy Conner (along with mom and sisters, Elizabeth and Clara) got to meet us there! Check it out..............

Melanie's Chomper!!: Yes, she got her 1st tooth on 8.5.09! So many milestones all at once! Congrats! But she was kinda cranky...don't blame her ;). She's also movin' and groovin and gettin' into trouble, lol. Check it out..........

Mentos + Diet Coke: Take 2............decided to do this again cause Matt was out sick last time. Note to self, must use 2liters; little bottles are a flop. Check it out................
